Installing Ledger Boards with Simpson ICFVL Hangers

With the main LVL beam and custom steel support columns installed and leveled, we are ready to begin installing the ledger boards (rim joists) for the subfloor of our ICF mountain homestead. We are using Simpson ICFVL plates and ICFVL-W hangers for dimensional rim joist lumber. This allows us to hang the entire floor system inside the insulated concrete form wall instead of traditionally platform framing the floor on top of the wall.
