FINALLY Pouring a 50 TON Elevated Concrete Porch Slab!
After months of work, prep and weather delays we are finally pouring the elevated concrete porch slabs so we can begin finishing the exterior of the ICF mountain homestead. We took extra care in preparing the form work and filling the voids with spray foam to keep the concrete in place. We are pouring 25 cubic yards of 4000psi pump mix and will need all hands on deck to finish over 1400 square feet of surface in only a few hours. A lot of things could go wrong with a project like this so cross your fingers, bite your lip and let's do this! This porch slab weighs 100,000 pounds!
